I started Beyond the Bling Radio Show after having this idea for roughly 10 years. I had to wait until technology made it possible to host a show without having to invest in an elaborate Radio Studio and I could use my iMac, Garage Band, and Blogtalkradio.com software to run the show.
I initially pitched the show concept to several radio stations and as an idea, no one was hearing it. Who cares? I love doing stuff myself anyway. I launched the whole concept in my condo in Atlantic Station in Atlanta, GA where I live. It’s awesome and wildly successful! Obviously, there is tons of room for improvement to better the show experience but I’m blessed that people have really taken to this idea like crazy. I found a niche in the industry and carved it out. It works. People want to hear and go Beyond the Bling and that’s where I take them.
