I’m not quite sure Michael Vick is ready to take over the Philadelphia Eagles’ offense quite yet. Donovan McNabb is a beast and demands taking over 98% of the offensive snaps in practice. No matter who the second team QB is, Kolb or Vick, the second teamer on the Eagles will always have problems if suddenly launched into game time situations. This means that Mike Vick’s mind cannot wander off during practice sessions and most importantly during film sessions.

I believe at some point, Mike’s ego will start to become either bored or complacent sitting behind Donovan McNabb and NOT being the central force of which the offense is built around. Right now, he’s ok because he feels like he’s just blessed to be back in uniform and back playing football and not behind bars. As soon as his ego catches up with his mind and his talent, this situation will not be a good look overall for Michael Vick.
