People sometimes underestimate the power of a really great sex scandal or drug scandal on a person’s fortune, fame, and wallet. A really good sex scandal, if orchestrated properly, can turn someone from virtual obscurity, into a bonafide hit if it’s done the right way.
You’ve got to have some sort of notoriety in the society for a good sex scandal to be impacting and do some real PR work for you. I mean, seriously, look at what a sex scandal and tape has done for Tommy Lee, Ray J, and others. It literally put them all on the map due to the person that was involved in the sex scandal.
The funny thing is that sex is NOT scandalous at all. In fact, it’s quiet normal for human beings to have sex and even want to tape themselves in the act. Men especially get off …uh literally….on “conquering” a woman and their mate and seeing her in bed screaming from them. While this satisfies the ego, again, it’s VERY normal.
I believe that sex scandals are born from media hounds and even the people who are directly involved themselves. Everyone wants to be an overnight YouTube success story with 3,500,000 views in 4 hours. What better way to do this? Create a sex scandal with a semi celebrity or celebrity and you both could be getting paid for years to come.
