Allen Iverson was offered a one year non guaranteed contract to play back with the Philadelphia 76ers. He was offered the NBA league minimum to play. Allen Iverson was offered a one year non guaranteed contract to play back with the Philadelphia 76ers. He was offered the NBA league minimum to play. The league minimum for a veteran player with over 10 years of service is $1,306,455. He was playing for $3.5 million in Memphis. The question is: will Philly start him or have him come off the bench?
Allen Iverson does not like coming off the bench. So, why play for Philly for a lower salary that is not guaranteed and potentially be in the same situation as Memphis in coming off the bench? I guess this is a personal decision for Mr. Iverson.
