The Baller’s Guide – Imagination as a Key To Winning #entrepreneur

Imagine it as if it already is done and as you imagine it already done, so it is.

Always imagine that you are doing what it is you would like to do today. Imagine it as if it already is done and as you imagine it already done, so it is. If you want to move into a new home that you purchase, imagine that you are there already. Imagine that it is done, you closed escrow, bought the house and the moving
trucks are there right now moving you and your family into the house. Imagine the actual walls of the house, smell the new paint, see the new master bedroom and the new garden tub. Imagine the new wood smell of the new construction. Imagine your backyard, your upstairs, your downstairs, and your newly
finished basement.

Start knowing that your imaginations are real and that they will become reality as you speak them into reality. Begin slowly knowing that what you imagine, you can accomplish. Begin
knowing that what you can imagine is real to you. Begin knowing that what you perceive as reality will become your reality. Begin knowing that as you perceive a thing that is what they are. If you perceive yourself as wealthy, you will become wealthy. If you perceive and imagine yourself as broke, you will become broke.

Start now, start today, start fresh to believe that you are the leader of your new mission in building wealth and that wealth is now manifest today. Your dreams are real and your perception of yourself pursuing these dreams is real now and real today.

Believe. Imagine. Believe. Trust. Imagine. Believe in You. You will do it. You will achieve your dream. You are your dream. You
can accomplish your dream no matter what stands in the way. Your dream is real today.

The Baller’s Guide – The Imagination is Real

The second ingredient to your wealth gumbo is imagination. Imagine that your dream is manifest today. Imagine that it is up and running today. The second ingredient to your wealth gumbo is imagination. Imagine that your dream is manifest today. Imagine that it is up and running today. Imagine that you have created it and it is completed today. How does that make you feel? How does it make you think? How does it make you dream? How does it change your life if it is happening literally today for you?

Imagine your own greatness. Imagine that your greatness is simply putting your dream into action regardless of any excuse or any preconceived notions of your own inability and/or ability. Imagine that your shit is working right now as you read this. Imagine your name in lights, on the marquis; doing whatever it is you wish to do.

I have always imagined my name on the side of a tall office building in Atlanta, GA since 1999. I see the words SPINKS Towers in big, bold letters on the side of a building as much as I see myself waking up each and every morning right now. That dream gets me up in the morning,
gets me motivated, and gets me started. It gets me amped up and helps me to really push forward and strive forward to reach and achieve all of my dreams and aspirations.

Imagining SPINKS on the side of the building as high as the BellSouth Tower on Peachtree Street in Atlanta motivates me as an individual. It hasn’t happened today, yet, but it allows me
to create and continue to inspire myself to create and put different ideas out in the universe. It allows the universal mind to take hold of my dreams and my aspirations and help make them
into reality for me. Always imagine yourself and your dreams as if they are real today.

You might say to yourself that you’ve been trying for a long time
and nothing has ever worked and nothing has ever come to you. Here’ s a little story of a come up that I’d like to share. In the mid 1990′s, I decided to start a clothing company called Tribe Zulu Sports. The clothing company featured a line of baseball caps, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and other stuff. I figured that it would be successful because at the time Cross Colors was widely successful and on a very good path to earn up to $50 Million annually.

I launched the company and began contacting a graphics company that could help me develop funky t-shirt designs and not just normal designs. I contacted a company in East Oakland called Underwood Works. The owner was a young brova like myself who was hungry and starting his own company too. Thomas Underwood was his name and he and his brother Tracy started the company and began making Phunky graphic designs for the burgeoning rap music market that was developing in Oakland.

At the time, MC Hammer and Too Short had put Oakland on the map but the rap music industry was going through a lot of change around 1995-1998, similar to today. The music industry felt that rap music was dead and that there was no real money in rap music since there was so much written about East Coast
and West Coast gangsta rap. So, the music industry stopped signing artists and no one could get a music deal from any labels down in Los Angeles, CA.

What this created was the independent rap music scene in Oakland and artists started putting out music themselves. Since I had my clothing company in East Oakland, off of High Street and
Macarthur, I would interact with a lot of these artists who were trying to come up. I decided to give my clothes to the artists during their video shoots and I would get noticed along the way.
We were just all-hungry niggas trying to come up. This story will continue in another post to follow…

Dealing With Troubled Waters

For us black folks, we were born in troubled waters simply by being born in the United States.

From my book “How To Be Rich, Nigga”:

For us black folks, we were born in troubled waters simply by being born in the United States. While I love this country and was born and raised here, the U.S.A. historically tried its best to knock us out of the box and de-humanize us, render us for poor, and leave us for dead. But, it couldn’t be systematically done and we bounced back and fought the good fight like nobody’s business.

We, of all people in the U.S., know about troubled waters and know that high tide can come and wipe out all kinds of stuff. But, at the same time, because we are intimate with troubled waters, we know how to withstand these floods, calamity, and disaster. We are very strong and can deal with stuff that others would simply jump off of a bridge if having to deal with it.

Please know that troubled waters are actually a part of life. High tide and low tide are natural occurrences of the earth’s ebb and flow and we must consider these as natural events and not events to wipe us out. We need to plan for these disasters now in order to secure the future.
