Explosive growth is what America has built itself on. We are now in explosive decline. I think the reason for this is because we are fixated on fast growth, fast company, and fast everything. We love knowing the get rich quick scheme actually works. We want to know that something was started yesterday and made $10,000 after 30 days. We want desperately to believe in this.

The reality is that explosive growth is actually incremental growth and takes time. My brother, Jeronimo Spinx is starring on CBS’ Criminal Minds in a week or so and was on FOX’s hit TV show 24 with Jack Bauer. He had explosive growth in Hollywood where it took him nearly 20 years of constant work effort to get on these shows.

I think the key to explosive growth lies in patience while continuing to do your thing that doesn’t appear to grow right away. It’s like an acorn seed growing into a solid Oak tree. Who would ever think this seed would get so solid? It took time and many years of patience and growth to get that way. So it is in business today. I wish we all could magically take our businesses and make them sell immediately tomorrow but that’s not reality. Keep watering the plant and it will grow over time.
