Waiting on a job is time consuming by sheer fact that it’s boring as ever. With millions out of work, you are contending with hundreds of applicants for the same job. Here’s a trick I learned to balance the time.
). Apply and walk away. Do not sit there thinking someone will call you back in a week. Spend your time doing something productive and not just talking on Twitter. Immediately, do 100 push ups in sets of 10 reps. Take your time and don’t try to rush through them. 10 sets of 10 reps. Do it.
). Stop eating out and stop going through the drive through. That food is stress food even though it costs $1. Buy foods at the grocery store and cook your food on a George Foreman type of grill.
). Stop eating processed foods that are pre-cooked in bags in the freezer section. These foods are not good for you.
). Go for a long 4-5 mile fast walk everyday. Take away the excuses of why you can’t go. It will take your mind completely off the job search and make you feel sane. It also raises your metabolism and increases the blood flow through your body. Sitting around everyday is stopping blood flow and can lead to disease, death, heart attacks, etc.
). Do 100 sit ups each day. Do not make 1 excuse of why you can’t do it. Do 10 sets of 10 reps. Do them now.
