Acquiring any type or form of wealth, no matter what it is requires belief, trust, and faith. You must believe in yourself first and foremost and
believe that you have what it takes to achieve your dream and your goal. You must work on this belief system everyday and write it down.
You must believe in you. To be honest, no one else will and no one else is supposed to except for your family and sometimes they may not due
to whatever circumstance in your life.

This will not stop you because you will learn to believe in you. Not arrogantly, but confidently. Belief can sometimes be elusive to us because we are not taught to believe in ourselves. We are taught to believe in somebody else and believe that someone else is ultimately responsible for our well-being.

This belief is the furthest thing from the truth about us. You must come to know and understand the truth about you and believe any lies about you. The truth about you is that you are ultimately responsible you. No corporation is, no mama is (unless you are still real young), and no daddy is responsible for you. You are responsible for taking care of you, taking care of your body, taking care of your mind, taking care of your physical and mental well being.

If you get into trouble, it is up to you to get yourself out of trouble. Don’t be mad; don’t get angry because someone else doesn’t come to bail you out. You are responsible for you and your dreams and goals. Please believe in yourself and in the power that you can achieve your dreams. You can and you will. I say this not to discourage you or make you feel like no one cares about you. People care about you. Your family and friends care about you.

Your church family cares about you. God cares about you and loves you. However, having said all of that… no one is responsible for making your dream become a reality except for you. No one can. Your dream is personal to you and you alone. It is a special dream that you have and a special goal. Let the world know about it.

Building Inner Strength – Dive Deep

I know these exercises are going to make some not want to do it but please follow this lead. It will help you become stronger. If you see dishes in the sink and you don’t feel like doing them right now, do it, now even though your inner mind is telling you to chill and that it is someone elses dishes anyway.

You come home from a long bus ride in downtown San Francisco all the way out to the Sunset District. You don’t feel like walking your
dog at Golden Gate Park. Take your dog out, and go for a very light run while you’re at it.

You get an assignment from school to read 3 chapters by tomorrow. You don’t feel like reading and feel like blowing off the work until
whenever. Read all 3 chapters and one extra one just to increase your inner power and inner strength.

You’d like a record deal with a major label but don’t know how to write your own lyrics. This forces you to depend upon someone to come up with good and decent lyrics. You will not get signed without knowing how to write. Sit down and begin writing one verse of a personal experience that you know about. Don’t fabricate any part of it. Use your own experience to write one paragraph down. Write about an experience you had in 8th grade. Write about the time that you saw someone jackin a 7-11 at gun point, write about the time that your house got broken into when you were a little kid. Push through the desire to give in and not want to write it down.

In order to succeed, you must overcome any laziness and any habit that stops you from pushing your individual dream forward. No one
wants to live a bullshit life doing some stuff that you don’t want to do. A lot of people want a full and meaningful life that is rewarding to them but don’t know how to start to get that life. You must decide today that you want to get a new life and set out on a journey to make that life happen. Will power and self discipline are going to play a huge role in you achieving that life that you want.

The impact of education on your wealth can be immense. First of all, let me define what I think education is. Education is not always institutional and achieved by reading assigned text by a teacher
in a high school or university. Education can be gathered on the street and by listening and learning about other people from their stories.

I do not advocate dropping out of high school or college however and do believe that getting an education is good just from a standpoint of meeting new people and getting influenced positively to do and create new things.

Without an education of some sort, ninjas are left out in the cold relying upon the military for a job and being subjected to going to war, fighting for some country you know nothing about, and having the military pay for your college if you can return alive from going to war.

It is very important that you get some sort of education and complete this education in order to get ahead in this United States society. You must learn something to add value. You don’t
necessarily need a college degree for this education. But you need to learn something that you can turn around and sell to somebody else that is valuable. You can learn how to become a sound engineer by going to volunteer and a sound engineering studio for free and learning how to work the boards. You can go to a film editing
company and volunteer your time and learn how to edit films using an Apple G5 computer and all of the editing software on these computers.

The new war is one of money and power. Everyone knows this bullshit except for us black folks sometimes. The game is about cash and not just cash now. The game is about long-term cash and holding down your cash for the long haul. Black folks need to learn this game now and forever more.

Everybody wants us to join the military, go overseas and fight someone who didn’t do shit to a nicca in East Oakland, South Chicago, Detroit, Bankhead, Decatur, The Bronx, or wherever. So,
keep your mind right. Negative influences are all around us every day. Negative influences are within the economy, the media, our families, and our friends. I’m not saying to diss yo family or any of that. Just keep your mind right. If someone says that they don’t think you can achieve your dream, don’t get mad, just keep
praying for guidance and for courage to keep dreaming but at the same time, keep executing on your dream.

Negativity must be countered by positivity within your self. For every negative action that happens to you, make a positive move three times to counter this affect. Use prayer and meditation to clear the negativity away from you and push this negative energy out of your cipher.

I’m also not saying to be all peaced out and wanting the world to be all peace around you in order to achieve. No dawg. I can get pissed off and go off all day on someone for tryin’ to salt my game. But no
worries, I come back and handle my business and keep writing. So, I don’t let all this societal and mental bullshit knock me off my game.
Sometimes it can try to penetrate but I stay prayed up and brush this shit off. I admit that this is a daily type of thing though as negative shit can try to appear to you everyday if you let it.

The trick is to minimize the negative stuff that impacts you and increase the positive stuff into your life. This is not easy depending upon your circumstances of ghetto life and ill type of shit
that is happening in your world. Again, I feel you. I understand, appreciate, and relate to what is happening in your world. But, at the same time, I believe that good is happening to you and me
right now. As I put these words out there to the universe right now, someone will read this, get inspired, and change their lives today. I know that good is happening to you and me today as you and I read this book. I believe in you and your ability to excel, exceed, and make your dream happen. I know that you have the power to achieve your dream, to reach your dream, and execute on your dream regardless of your financial situation today.

I know that your dreams will become manifest and that God is working to make all of your dreams become a reality now and forever more.

The impact of negativity on your plans can stop a niggas plan in its tracks. First thing is, you need to crazy believe in your product or project. Also, you need to protect your mind by saying positive
affirmations on the daily in order to keep your mind clean and pure. Trust, the mind is very powerful. The more negative thoughts that you have about yourself, takes away from you achieving anything.

This is what the devil had in mind during slavery. They knew that if they constantly told niggas that we weren’t shit, that we would slow believe this nonsense and not want to create and own shit for
ourselves. Please believe me, there was a plan for this shit that has us in this nigga type bullshit that’s jumpin’ off in terms of not having shit.

So, like I already talked about before, you must believe in you more than anything in the world. Forget what you heard, you MUST BELIEVE IN YOU and your ability to achieve the so called impossible. If George W. Bush believes that you would make a good soldier fighting and dying over some bullshit in Iraq, you should believe in you that you would make your own good soldier and become an economic warrior!

The impact of dreaming big will also determine how high you go in reaching your dream and achieving wealth. Forget what you heard, dream and execute big style! In other words, if you are selling a product, set a goal to sell 250,000-500,000 copies of your product(s). Dreaming huge like this will have you act in a certain way
and have you driven on achieving it.

The bigger you dream the more you will try to achieve it. If you dream small, the risks are small for you and the more you may not follow the dream. For example, if you have a goal to sell 1,000 copies of what you have, it’s easier to bail out and forget your dream because you can figure, what the hell, you never thought that big about it anyway.

On the converse, if you set a goal to sell 500,000 copies, you will start to do whatever it takes to get to that goal especially if you start counting the potential money that you will earn if and when
you achieve the goal. If you sell 500,000 copies of something and you make $3 on each sale, you will earn $15,000,000. Forget the LOTTO, you just figured out how to earn millions in income.

It’s not going to be easy achieving it but with the prospect of $15 Million flashing in front of you, why not go for it. Your chances of achieving that in your lifetime even if it took you 10 years to achieve is better than the odds of winning a chance LOTTO for the same $15 Million.

You can see the power in the dream. If you have a dream of selling 1,000 copies, the potential income at $3 per item is $3,000. I’d rather put the shit together to sell 500,000 copies and go ahead
and work towards achieving this even if it takes me 12 years. Think about how many 745’s, 545’s, and CL55’s you can purchase with this. Not to mention the fact that you paid for your house cash money, paid for your childrens’ education, and put money away in several annuities for the times when you may not sell this way in the near future. Go ahead work the plan and plan the work!

Develop a postcard of your product and/or service either on your own using Microsoft Publisher or have a graphics company do the work for you. It will cost you approximately $.25 cents to send the postcard. Make sure that you send as many postcards out about your product or service that fits your budget.

The more people that know about your product overtime the more potential sales that you will make. People must learn your product or
company name and must come to recognize it as something that they would purchase once they see it in a store or see where you do business.

You should also monitor the success rate of this marketing and promotion to determine what works well. I suggest running your marketing campaign for at least 3-6 months before changing the campaign message. You should be consistent with your marketing and never stop marketing unless it is unavoidable.

Again, in order for you to sell a lot of whatever it is you sell; you must reach a gang of folks in some manner that fits with your budget. This goes for the sales of anything…record sales, t-shirt sales, baseball caps sales, anything that you can think of. Reach your audience and you reach your wealth. Do not worry about silly shit like trends, fads, or whether or not your audience or customer wants what you sell. Real businesses create their own market by not giving a shit about a trend. They will market and promote whatever they sell regardless of anything and regardless of what anyone says to them including they mama.

The people who have become a success did it without guessing if people would like or approve of their ideas and dreams. If I really cared what people thought or began first guessing what I think people will think about this book, I wouldn’t have wrote it at all. You need some creative tactics for first guessing yourself and thinking that no one will want what you have to offer.

Here it is: if you’re going to guess about things guess that people will love your idea. Guess that they will buy 3 Million copies of whatever it is you’re selling. Guess that they’ll love your album,
love your skills, love the way that you do hair and love your services. Guess that eventually the entire planet will begin to love exactly what you do and begin to not be able to live without what
you sell.

You might say to yourself that you’ve been trying for a long time
and nothing has ever worked and nothing has ever come to you. Here’ s a little story of a come up that I’d like to share. In the mid 1990′s, I decided to start a clothing company called Tribe Zulu Sports. The clothing company featured a line of baseball caps, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and other stuff. I figured that it would be successful because at the time Cross Colors was widely successful and on a very good path to earn up to $50 Million annually.

I launched the company and began contacting a graphics company that could help me develop funky t-shirt designs and not just normal designs. I contacted a company in East Oakland called Underwood Works. The owner was a young brova like myself who was hungry and starting his own company too. Thomas Underwood was his name and he and his brother Tracy started the company and began making Phunky graphic designs for the burgeoning rap music market that was developing in Oakland.

At the time, MC Hammer and Too Short had put Oakland on the map but the rap music industry was going through a lot of change around 1995-1998, similar to today. The music industry felt that rap music was dead and that there was no real money in rap music since there was so much written about East Coast
and West Coast gangsta rap. So, the music industry stopped signing artists and no one could get a music deal from any labels down in Los Angeles, CA.

What this created was the independent rap music scene in Oakland and artists started putting out music themselves. Since I had my clothing company in East Oakland, off of High Street and
Macarthur, I would interact with a lot of these artists who were trying to come up. I decided to give my clothes to the artists during their video shoots and I would get noticed along the way.
We were just all-hungry niggas trying to come up. This story will continue in another post to follow…

This Rich Nigga story is for Niggas across America, London, Africa, and Japan and is an inspirational how to guide to help us niggas get out the hood mentally and make some cash. This
is for a neglected part of our society in the United States that no one seems to really care about Young Black Youth. Politicians act like they do because its an election year but most people don’t give a shit about niggas layin in the cuts across
America.

The most press that we get is usually seen on COPS or SportsCenter on ESPN. Most people have written niggas off. The United States Government has a Welfare To Work program yet
there are no jobs. The U.S. builds more prisons than educational facilities and the inner cities are littered with poor educational facilities that no one wants their kid to go to.

If you don’t believe me, check out the school districts in Richmond, California, Oakland, California, South Atlanta, Georgia, Detroit, Michigan, and the Southside of Chicago, Illinois. Do you really believe that kids want to go to school where the teachers just give them passing grades to get rid of a nigga? Do you think a kid wants to go to school where the facility is leaking water through the pipes and on the hall floors but no one has a budget to fix this shit? Does a smart young lil nigga growing up in Richmond, CA have a chance with an environment that is setup
for self-destruction, jail, and corruption?
