I know a lot of people believe that because Diddy looks so young that he would be fun to work for. Wow! Does Diddy have people fooled. I met Sean Combs back in the ’90s during The Gavin Music Convention and at that time, he was a beast. He is a driven, success oriented magistrate. To really work for Diddy, you’ve got to go far beyond and above what it is you think you know. He likes people who think on their feet and will do absolutely anything to keep grinding for the company.

Most of all he really loves discipline, training, and adheres strictly to Robert’s Rules of Order. Sean Combs is well read and very organized. He makes himself out to not sleep but that’s not true. He works out regularly and hard workouts. He’s up at night during a lot of filming of the show but he rests during the day for about 4-5 hours. You must be ready to embrace change and most people will never make it in Diddy’s world because of this one simple fact. Most people and most employees loathe structure and discipline. If you don’t have structure and discipline, you would never make it.

So what is the ideal type of person who would make it? A business minded, highly focused, success oriented, well disciplined and trained athlete type who knows how to work well with many different types of people. You must be a people person and enjoy meeting and talking to different types of people. If you don’t like people, you would not do well with Diddy. People underestimate Sean Combs’ discipline and seriousness.

Who Is Andre Harrell and Why Does He Mean So Much To Diddy?

This is also for the youngsters who ask me who is Andre Harrell. Andre Harrell used to own a record company in Harlem, NY called Uptown Records. It was the first company that Diddy worked for. At Uptown Records, Diddy signed Mary J. Blige and Jodeci and built their careers.
