The first thoughts that you have when you get out of jail are “damn, shit, fuck, gotdamnit, etc.” You start wondering where the hell everybody is and why no one came to see you and why mostly everyone stopped accepting your collect calls. You then go back into “damn, shit, fuck, gotdamnit” and start wondering what the hell are you going to do since you have this gotdamn felony on your back.

First of all, here’s what not to do. Do not head straight back to the block that you used to fuck around on and got locked up on. Realize too, that your crew that you thought would be down for you are just not there. They’re not supposed to be there for you like that and even if they are, they will lead you right back to another bid fuckin’ around with them.

Yes, you were in jail for some time and this also put you in a mental jail where your mind does not think that you can change. You now have prison walls in your mind and although you got your dress outs and are out of the physical prison walls, you are still confined in a cell in your mind.

This must change. You must realize that you don’t have to go back to the streets in order to make money. Yes, you have a felony. Yes, that stops you from getting some jobs but we have a cleanup job to do with your mind and you need to believe that you can clean this shit up.

Your freedom lies in your ability to get an education. You must learn. You must not believe that you cannot get educated. It’s the lack of education most likely that got you a bid in the first place. You must stop believing in greed and cash money.

The key lies in what you believe about yourself. You must believe in success more than you believe in failing. You must acknowledge the failure but not dwell on the failure and take it for what it is; a deep learning experience. Failure is the opportunity to learn from that mistake and keep pushing forward.

You can comeback as long as you are alive and breathing. You cannot come back if you are dead. Dust yourself off and put your energy into succeeding only. It doesn’t matter where you’re at in your life. You can bounce back if you believe that you can bounce back. It doesn’t matter what your closest friends think. It doesn’t matter what your family thinks about you. It doesn’t matter what anyone thinks other than what’s in your mind about you.

If your third eye (minds eye) is blind, you will never be able to see yourself succeeding. You must do whatever it takes to clear this third eye and see yourself as victorious today regardless of circumstances. You must believe in you more than anyone else believes in you.

An entrepreneur always drives ahead and moves forward. I’ve seen people broke without a dime still pushing ahead and pushing their products forward. To become a success, you can’t take a day off and slow down. But, this doesn’t mean that you should stop all together. Keep driving and keep moving and success will meet you on that path.

Success does not lie on a dormant and lethargic path of life. It never has and it never will. Success lies on a path where people do things every day. This is why opportunity is always presented to people who are always moving and doing something legitimate, adventurous, exciting, and with integrity. Those people always have the “it” factor and always wind up in something awesome. Why? This is because success lies directly on their life path.

Here’s what to do to stay alive and survive in America. Education, education, education. I cannot say it any clearer. Your opportunities increase exponentially with education. I’m talking about finishing high school with a good grade point average, going on to college and graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science type of degree, and heading on to business school.

No more excuses. There are all types of programs and grants and loans available to get an education today. President Obama has made sure of that. It’s now in the hands of black youth to take action and get educated. This is a state of emergency and must be implemented immediately.

Anyone who lives in the ‘hood should move. I suggest moving as far away from the ghetto as possible as this increases your life expectancy greatly. The ghetto is filled with strife, anger, despair, and destitution. Time for change and time to leave that behind. It’s time for a new way of life and a new glory. Get out of the ‘hood mentality, get educated, and no more excuses. You owe yourself glory and greatness.

The first step is to understand that millionaire’s have a mindset first and foremost more than anything. A millionaire does not believe there are limits and ceilings to their money and income. I turned down a job for $115,000 per year a few years ago not because I didn’t like the salary but because my money had a ceiling on it and I pitched to the firm attempting to hire me that I wanted to close $3 Million deals regularly and get a percentage of sales. They declined so I declined.

This is the mindset of a millionaire. You will only see value if you can sell something, make a profit, and not have a ceiling on your money. You will take any measure to do this. It doesn’t matter what’s in your pocket today because you are building your wealth program for the future. It’s true secret lies in what’s in your mind. You must also protect your mind and shield it from friends/opponents who do not believe in this mentality.

Working at home takes discipline, patience, and action. People have somehow mistaken working at home with relaxing’ while watching Maury Povich and television all day while streams of money come rolling in. It’s not going to happen.

Working at home takes discipline. The United States has the technological infrastructure to easily support this. I used to support an Indian Software Engineering Center for Cisco Systems from my home office in the Silicon Valley. All the developers were in Bangalore, India, I was in the East Bay, and our headquarters was down in Milpitas, CA.

What did this take? Discipline. Working at home can be done easily but people abuse it and watch television while they should be working. Contrary to popular belief, you actually don’t need to wake up put on business clothes just to sit down in your home office. If you need all of this type of false hype to make yourself feel like you’re in business mode, you shouldn’t be working from home at all.

You should be able to wake up and do your work and make your money right at home. There are now Internet Phone and Skype that allow you to dial another computer for free. I suggest getting Skype, GoToMeeting.com, and a nice web cam or iMac computer so that you can hold meetings in your home office without interruption and without fail.

Yes, I’m all for doing what you love but this mentality is also why a very high percentage of people who win the Lottery are broke after a number of years especially if they take the one time pay out option. If you have an employee mentality, you will almost always find that you’re broke because you don’t know how to properly make money work.

Here’s what to do if you win the lottery tomorrow and have a sudden windfall of cash money:

1). As the bible says, go seek counseling immediately. Don’t start a spending plan without an investment plan. Head straight to Fidelity Investments, Charles Schwab, or AXA Advisors and get help and true guidance immediately.

2). Diversify your money and put it into several avenues including real estate, gold or precious metals, foreign currency markets, and other markets. Go to Trump University and again get the proper guidance from seasoned investors who truly know what to do and how not to lose money.

3). Never, ever work for someone again even if they’ve provided the greatest comfort for you your entire life. Life is short. No need to keep heading to a job when you can spend the time investing your money.

4). Create a plan to pass down the wealth to deserving family members in a wealth succession plan. Money should never last for just one generation. Money should be passed to future generations and education should be at the forefront of passing the money down. You don’t want to pass the money down to un-educated family members to have them waste it and burn through it.

5). Get educated and educate everyone in your family who is motivated. Learn to detect who is motivated in the family and focus on those. Do not spend time trying to motivated and educate someone who could care less even if they are a blood relative.

To make our lives extremely meaningful, the day must turn from boring to mysterious. This usually starts by creating some sort of huge challenge for yourself outside of doing the normal stuff and your normal routine that gets boring. Someone I know decided to do a tri-athlon for the first time ever and came in 5th place! Talk about intriguing and mysterious and breaking left from the status quo.

Today, do something extremely abnormal in your life. Doesn’t have to be grandiose and HUGE. It can be a small change. A small tweak in your day. Find out something new about yourself and go do it. Go to a race track and race a car. Be safe though. Do something new and something completely out of your character that’s legal and fun.

Here’s what to do. First of all, who cares about their opinion. People’s ego’s and money falsely lead them to believe that they can ruin other people. No one can ruin you and make your name terrible. The only real power and authority to do this type of thing is God and God only wants you to succeed.

If you run into anyone who says they have the power to stop you from succeeding in any industry; music, sports, film, television, technology, newspapers, publishing, etc, they can’t. I don’t care if they are Warren Buffett. He cannot ruin you. The secret lies in a little belief system. Do you and your mind believe your ears? Do you secretly believe what that person said? Somewhere inside of you is an inner voice. When someone has a negative experience with you and then claims they will ruin you and that you are horrible, this inner voice is triggered and starts speaking with your mind.

This voice typically is built and developed during childhood and remembers what your parents/teachers etc said when you were 7-11 years old. This inner voice/thought must be changed. When someone says that you’re worthless, don’t believe them. Believe God first and believe in your ability second. You don’t have to own what they think of you even if a negative situation occurred between two people.
