Struggling during this holiday season with being unhappy? It’s okay and I understand. In order to get through struggles and unhappiness, you must get moving and move the body right NOW. There is absolutely nothing better for the body and unhappiness than to MOVE and GET OUT OF YOUR OWN WAY!
I don’t care what you’re doing and what gym you may not have the money for, go outside and work it out to relieve any type of stress during this Christmas and Kwanzaa season. Moving the body massively takes your mind off of stress and it releases endorphines in the body which make you feel better. I need you to do this every single day of your life for 21 days straight. This is not a New Year’s resolution. This is a daily commitment to improve your self esteem, your view of your life, and increase your relationship with yourself and God.
And when I say workout, I don’t mean a quick little 15 minute workout in front of the television. Go outside and walk for one solid hour or even two solid hours. You will be amazed at what the outside air will do for your mental state of being and your emotional health. I need everyone to be healthy now and forever until God takes you.
There is very little that we can control in this day and time except one thing: our minds and our bodies. We may not be able to control hiring managers or whether we get unemployment but what we can control is how we think, how we prepare for tomorrow, and our bodies.
We can control being in shape and working out. Nobody can dictate that and no one can take that away from you. If you feel like everything is out of control, I encourage you to workout and at least be healthy during these difficult times. If you can’t get up and go to a job because no one is hiring you, it’s ok. You can at least get up and workout and control your self-image and your outer image.
That’s the greatest thing you can do in difficult times. Control your mind and your body and achieve inner peace and happiness until things change outwardly. And even when it does change, keep it up and stay in shape.
Fitness should never be something that you feel that you are too young or too old to do. Many of us make huge excuses why we should not work out.
I encourage everyone to just remove the excuses and start today on fitness. The funny thing is that you don’t need to pay a gym to be fit. Fitness can be really cheap and affordable and seriously keep you away from doctors for most minor ailments.
Young people should workout, middle aged people should workout, and older people should workout. America needs to get moving and stop focusing on harnessing someone to a desk and never moving the body. The body is a fine tuned machine meant to actually move around. Move it, today!

This lack of exercise manifests itself as health problems when we become adults. Of course not all disease or illness has to do with keeping in shape, but you’d be amazed at what minor illnesses can be prevented if we workout on a daily basis.
Preventative health methods should be used each week and at minimum a walk should be done to stay in shape. I really recommend doing much more than walking if you can and doing something that you absolutely love as fitness to stay in shape.
Some ideas can include rollerskating, fast walking for 1 hour each day, biking on a trail, running, weight lifting, football workouts, baseball workouts, etc. The key lies in doing what YOU love. Do not do some program that you do not like or that does not motivate you.
